1. Volume of furniture and boxes

The number of rooms is only a starting point. A two-bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, a home office and a storage room needs more crew time and truck space than a lightly furnished one.

2. Distance and route

Moves within the same community are quicker than moves across Dubai. Inter-emirate moves, such as Dubai to Abu Dhabi or Dubai to Sharjah, add driving time and sometimes a larger crew to finish the same day.

3. Building access

Floor level, lift size, loading bay distance and the time slot your building allows all affect how long the move takes.

4. Packing, dismantling and setup

Full packing, furniture dismantling and reassembly, TV mounting and curtain fixing are separate tasks. Ask for them to be listed clearly in your quote.

5. Storage

If your handover dates do not match, storage adds collection, storage time and redelivery.
